More than 30 years of Experience
The AP Renewables team has more than 30 years of extensive experience in renewable asset performance optimization, customer relationship management and strategic business leadership. The company was founded with the idea of finding simple solutions to the complex problems that hinder efficient operation of wind and solar generators.
The company was founded in Hamilton, Ontario in April 2017. All of our products are designed and manufactured in Ontario, Canada.

Amin Ahmadi | CTO
Amin brings knowledge of machine physics, performance math and operations reality together to help owners optimize their production and ultimately achieve better return on investment and lower the Cost of Energy. Amin has experience in reliability analysis and root cause investigation with mechanical and electrical issues.
Joseph Sneep | CDO
Joe brings experience in product design and market analysis to deliver results that offer the most value for the clients’ immediate and long-term goals. Joe’s focus is quantifying and qualifying the current status and designing the optimal service, software and hardware deliverables.Gavin Boggs | Director Of R&D
Gavin brings critical experience with instrumentation and data processing of the data related to the mechanical components of the wind turbine. Gavin brings a unique combination of expertise wind turbine physical and electrical systems, knowledge of existing diagnostics technologies in wind turbines, and experience with high-performance data architecture engineering.Are you passionate about making an impact in the renewable energy industry? Brent Gelhar
Brent Gelhar, MBA, CMC, is an experienced corporate leader and technology commercialization consultant. He spent over 14 years living in Hong Kong and Singapore heading up various divisions ultimately in the role of Managing Director, S.E.Asia within the Carl Zeiss (Germany) organization. He then spent 9 years at Optech Incorporated in Toronto as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing until the acquisition of the company by the Teledyne Corp. After his return to Canada in 1999, he established his consulting firm Spatial Initiatives Consulting where he is currently active.
Nick Markettos
Nick Markettos is experienced in energy policy, environment, and innovation-driven economic development, business incubators and research parks. Recently retired from McMaster University as Assistant Vice-President of Research Partnerships and Innovation, Nick’s career spans the fields of engineering, technology development, policy development, economic development and industry-research collaborations. As Industry Professor he lectured on Energy and Public Policy in McMaster’s School of Engineering Practice. He was inducted to the Professional Engineers of Ontario Order of Honour.About Us
